To all the fine men and women that have decided to make University of Tampa their home for the next four years, there is something important you should know. The athletic program at UT is burning hotter than the Florida sun in August, and you have the chance to be a part of it from the start of your college journey.

In their first match of the 2007 season the defending national champions and top-ranked University of Tampa volleyball team already equaled their loss total from their championship run last year. Granted the Spartans' only lost one game last year to Florida Southern, it was not the start to the season the team had hoped for.

A bit too vague to be useful. -- At 9:10 a.m. on March 27, UT Security was contacted concerning a bad situation from a night out off campus. After the information was reported, Security advised the student to contact Tampa police and the Security Office if the situation happened again.
