On Wednesday, The Huffington Post hosted an entrepreneurship expo called “What Is Working” at the Cuban Club in Ybor. The expo and panel discussion was centered around job issues and solutions to boost employment. There were many different companies and products displayed from the Florida area as well as around the country. Here are a few of the up and coming products and companies:

The SHOWER SHIRT™ is a post surgical, water-resistant garment designed to keep drain sites dry during showers, post-surgery. When the patent designer was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo a bi-lateral mastectomy, followed by breat reconstruction surgery, she was told she couldn’t shower until her surgical drains were removed which could take weeks. She used a plastic garbage bag and then thought of the idea for the SHOWER SHIRT™
