Coach Urso on Rollins: “They’ll have three really good [starting pitchers]. It’ll be a matter of just grinding out those early innings to get to their bullpen, where our offense can hopefully take over the game at that point.”
Carmine Giardina on Rollins: “It’s definitely a big weekend for us right now. If we can win three more games there at Rollins, it will [definitely be] huge.”
History: Tampa leads the all-time series 86-25-1. Tampa defeated Rollins 14-5 in February.
Softball [15-10, 6-3]

History: Tampa leads the all-time series 36-32. The teams met three times in 2009 with Rollins taking two.
Tennis [2-14, 0-7]
April 15-17 SSC Championships at Florida Southern.
Coach DuFaux on SSC Championship: “It’s gonna be tough from day one. But, we hope to play Saint Leo and beat them again since we split with them this year.”
Megan Mancini on SSC Championship: “I think we’re gonna do really well. Yeah, we’re seeded low but I’m confident that we’ll do pretty well.”
Tampa went 1-3 in the 2009 tournament with a win over Eckerd College.
Golf
The University of Tampa golf team finished in fourth place, of 14 teams, at the Barry Invitational.
Host Barry University won, followed by Lynn University and Brevard Community College.
Tampa will next compete in the SSC Championships.
